Position:- Software Developer (remote)

Location- : Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey

Duration- Contract

Experience:- 5 years

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and dev testing of Java applications.

• Producing design documents.

• Work with product managers to flush out requirements.

• Refactoring and maintaining of existing java applications.

• Help in resolving production related technical problems.

• Automate front end testing to ship the highest quality experience for our audience.

• Write code and tests that are understandable and maintainable.

• Debug effectively within their primary area to help find root cause.

• Provide helpful, timely code reviews.

• Collaborate professionally with teammates and peers.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Proven experience as a Java Sever side or Full Stack senior developer.

• Strong server side or Full stack development experience using core Java, Spring, Spring boot , Spring data and Spring security frame works.

• 3+ years recent experience with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. React.js, Vue.js, Aurelia).

• Experience in writing unit tests and code coverage.

• Oauth 2.0/OpenId protocol knowledge is nice to have.

• JavaScript(React JS) with GraphQL experience is nice to have.

• Golang experience/ willing to learn Golang is nice to have.

• Experience working with DevOps and knowledge of CI/CD process.

• Worked in an agile team environment.

• Database: MySQL, MongoDB.

• Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows.

• Scripting: KSH and Bash shell scripting.

• Strong proficiency in either CSS/Sass development or a server-side programming language (e.g. Node.js, Go, Java) in the context of a website.

• Experience implementing responsive designs using HTML and a CSS preprocessor (SASS, PostCSS, LESS).

• Demonstrated experience with technical design.

• Experience using modular JavaScript, async patterns, and DOM manipulation.

• Strong problem-solving skills, logical and creative thinking.

• Experience with version control.

• GraphQL and Node.js experience is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
